Itao, Khais - 3 signierte große Bleistiftzeichnungen - Papua Neu Guinea 1994

Bleistift und Buntstift auf Papier. Unten rechts jeweils signiert "Khais Itao 94". Format 86 x 61 cm, auf schwarzen Karton im Format 100 x 70 cm montiert. Bis auf einzelne Stockflecken gut erhalten. Jedoch mit wellenförmigen Stauchungen durch gerollte Lagerung. Der schwarze Karton mit Gebrauchsspuren, bzw. einem Einriss, am Außenrand. Der Versand erfolgt wegen der Größe gerollt. 

Khais Itao is a local indigenous artist born and raised in Ofafina Village in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Raised by his beloved grandfather, Khais was exposed to art from a young age as his grandfather used clay and pit-pit (tall thin shrubs that grow by the river) to create sculptures. Eventually Khais started school and went on to attend arts school in Port Moresby from 1979 to 1982.
