Unique Grand Tour Roman Lost Wax Bronze Ewer - Italy 19th. Century

Grand Tour copy of a roman ewer, Italy 19th. Century. Bronze ewer with grape and acanthus leaf decoration and mythical beast spout. Lost wax technique, with lots of fingerprints in the bronze and inside with at least two visible thin chaplets directed to the centre of the body. Dark olive green patina. Height 37 cm, weight 2,45 kgs.. Condition: the stem is bent backwards, crack in the belly (2nd last picture), minor dent to the foot.
