"Paul Fischer (1864 - 1932) was active/lived in Mexico.  Paul Fischer is known for Watercolor landscape and regional scene painting. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Paul Fischer traveled to Mexico around 1890 to work as a resident doctor in the local mines of the Durango region. His work as a painter was a hobby, being a self-taught artist. Nevertheless, he would later become well-known for his outstanding watercolors. His depictions of Mexican landscapes show his passion for the country." Source: Sotheby's.com
