Early 19th. C. Mahogany Stick Barometer by James Pioty in Boston, Lincolnshire

Inlaid mahagony on softwood case. Broken pediment with overelaborated bone finial. Behind a glazed front door is a silvered metal display with the maker`s name "Jam Pioty" and masonic emblem. The barometer scale displays from "Very Dry" to "Stormy", with pointer. The thermometer to the left works correctly. Height 97 cm (38 Inch).

The case is in good condition, but the surface should get polished. The barometer column actually is nearly empty, shipping is only offered with empty column.
